The girls took to the mat last week for regionals in a showdown against many talented teams. 223.05 points was their final, two-day score, a season high that planted the Lady Rough Riders firmly in a 4th place spot at the podium and punching the ticket for the state meet in Odessa! Out of the team's roster, Chelsie Jefferson, Eva Goode, and Cameron McDaniel all qualified, as individuals, for state in the All Around. There were several top ten finished throughout the course of regionals, including:
Chelsie Jefferson - 10th on Vault, 6th on Bars, 6th on beam, and 7th in the All-Around
Eva Goode - 8th on Vault, 8th on Beam, and 10th in the All-Around
Cameron McDaniel - 10th on Vault, 10th on Bars, and 10th on beam
The Lady Rough Riders head to Permain High School on Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th, for the climactic State meet.
