Once more, the Saginaw Rough Riders have proved their adeptness on the mat by taking 1st place at last week's regional meet. The boys dominated both days with a profound display of skill on several events and brought home a plethora of medals to add to the school's collection. Lucas Guhl and Connor Womack finished second on floor, while Aston Carrasco stole gold on pommel horse, rings and parallel bars. Liam Ryniker and Evan Croft added to the haul with third-place finishes on pommel horse and rings respectively. Other events, and wins, include:
Parallel Bars - Aston Carrasco (1st), Evan Croft (3rd)
High Bar - Lucas Guhl (1st), Aston Carrasco (3rd)
All Around - Lucas Guhl (2nd)
The Rough Riders head to Permain High School on Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th, for the climactic State meet.
