Traveling across the tracks, Saginaw headed to Boswell for the EMS Shootout against their district-mates. The boys saw a hard fought series of matches that demanded the most of their skills. They came out on top over both the Pioneers and the Knights with final scores of 36-24 and 42-24, respectively. Chisholm was the Rough Riders' most difficult opponent of the evening, and though they battled valiantly, the Rangers were able to overcome and beat Saginaw 21-54, giving the Rough Rider gentlemen a 2-1 final score but a stellar performance for Senior Night.
The Rough Riders head to Azle on Friday, January 31st, for the district tournament.
