The Lady Rough Riders faced a challenging home district game against Brewer over spring break. The Lady Bears took an early lead. Despite Saginaw's efforts to stage a comeback, including Anely Paz scoring on a double and an error, as well as Maddy Moors' solo home run, the team couldn't overcome Brewer's lead. Gabby Reed started in the circle and took the loss. Rhyan Angles pitched the final 4 1/3 innings in relief.
Saginaw looks to bounce back as they hit the road to face Azle on Mar. 19 and prepare for Teacher Appreciation Night at home against Granbury on Mar. 22.
