Saginaw faced a tough Aledo team for their second matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The Bearcats' solid defense cleared three out of four shots off the goal line and they secured an early lead with the first goal. The Rough Riders tied up the game with Mathy Tampwo making a determined run with the ball and scoring at the back post. Despite goalkeeper Elian Gomez saving two penalties, Saginaw lost the shootout.
The Rough Riders face Brewer on Friday, Mar. 1, with kick-off at 7:30 pm.
