Friday night was a rough one for the Lady Rough Riders. Hosting the match against Aledo, the girls found themselves dropped into a fast paced game that tested their resolve and reflexes. The Bearcats were fast, quick, and played smart soccer, but the girls in red never gave up and fought to the very last blow of the horn. Sadly, Saginaw was unable to find their footing and ended up facing a final score of 0-9, however the effort they put forth and their integrity of continuing to play as if it were the first play of the game spoke volumes more than a scoreboard ever could. Players of the game that helped keep the Lady Rough Riders going were Kimberley Perez and Daisy Ruiz.
The girls head across the track to face off against their district-mates, the Chisholm Trail Rangers, on Tuesday, March 4th.
