With a final score of 103.95 points, the Lady Rough Riders handily won in the Senior Night gymnastics meet. The girls fought hard, the combination of their work ethic and talent paying off for both the team and their individual performances. Cameron McDaniel lead the evening, winning 1st in the All-Around, on vault, on beam, and a respectable 3rd on bars & floor. Eva Good tied with her for vault but scored 1st on floor, and placed 2nd and 3rd on bars and beam respectively, also tying for 2nd on the All-Around with Chelsie Jefferson who made 3rd on vault, 1st on bars, and 2nd on floor. Karen Kabuya placed 4th in the All-Around and on vault with a 5th place finish on bars, Jaida McGlothlin took 5th on vault, and Meghan Wainright rounded out the evening with a 4th place on floor. Impressive work, ladies!
The girls are back in action on Wednesday, March 5th, at the Mark Williams Invitational.
