Though neutral ground was the spot for the district powerlifting meet, the Rough Riders came in to turn Aledo's field house into their territory. Showing off the gains they had been making all winter, the boys not only placed second as a team but five individuals performed well enough to take home gold in their respective weight classes! These medalists include Anthony Quijano in the 114 weight class, Marquis Jemison in the 123 weight class, Benson Chau in the 132 weight class, Michael Rodriguez in the 181 weight class, and Jacob Mangas in the SHW Class. They weren't the only ones to receive titles, however. Malik McCoy secured a solid second in the 220 weight class, and Najae Nicholson and Kardai Meyer placed 5th in the 198 and 308 classes respectively. Way to go, Rough Riders!
