Rafael Monasterio
Coach Rafael Monasterio was born in Mexico, and graduated high school in Nebraska and obtained his degree from the University of Morningside in Sioux City, Iowa. While at Morningside, he played and later coached soccer. He was also the head coach for the boys soccer program at South Sioux City, Nebraska, where he led the team to a 15-6 record in his second year.
He has lived in Saginaw since 2017. He is married to Irma Monasterio and together have four daughters.
